How I discovered AI video production alongside my professional sports career and turned curiosity into my second profession in just a few months.
My primary profession is professional handball. I play as a goalkeeper in the Hungarian league, which is considered one of the stronger leagues in Europe, but alongside sport, I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset. That is exactly what led me to a field that, just a few months ago, I barely knew existed: AI video production. Since then, AI has become my second profession, my early morning routine and, above all, something I genuinely enjoy. I have created countless videos, generated hundreds of visuals and learned to use tools that I did not even know existed until recently. Interestingly, this journey has also had a positive impact on my sports career. In January, I achieved a 38 percent save rate, which is an excellent number for a professional goalkeeper, but the biggest change was not in my training or technique. It was in my mindset. Knowing that my future and financial security do not depend solely on my next handball contract has given me more peace of mind and, as a result, allowed me to enjoy the sport even more. When I arrive at training, I am completely focused on handball. When I come home, I direct my energy toward Elura and AI video production. I believe this is especially important for athletes who are thinking about what they will do after their careers. I have realized that you do not have to wait until your final game to start building something new. AI is not a magic wand, and results do not come overnight. It requires a huge amount of learning, discipline, experimentation and the willingness to start over again and again. Today, AI video production is no longer just about exploring new technology for me. With Elura, we have built a team, completed multiple projects and fully focused on the field of AI video production. The technology is developing incredibly fast, the possibilities are constantly expanding, and the entire industry is still only at the beginning. That is exactly why we continue to enjoy learning every day, testing new approaches and discovering what will be possible to create in the future.
